Job summary

IB Abel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee transmission and distribution utility construction projects from start to finish.

You will focus on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control to deliver safe, on-time and on-budget results for clients. The role requires strong project management experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management.
• Contractor industry experience preferred (Electric Utility).
• PM Certification desired where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Quality & Project Management: review documents, plan outages, ensure crews, and support safety plans.
• Customer Relations: service client, manage expectations, coordinate final walk-down and punch lists.
• Internal/External Communication: conduct pre-construction, attend progress meetings, site visits, and document progress.
• Financial Management: prepare forecasts, manage change orders, and track costs against budgets.
