Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Project Performance Manager to lead mid-sized manufacturing projects, coordinating engineering, operations, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence. The role reports to the Manager of Project Performance and requires travel up to 25% with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

The candidate will develop schedules, monitor risks, and ensure complete project documentation while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience managing technical projects

Responsibilities

• Evaluates project performance and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Manages mid-sized customer projects with moderate complexity, coordinating cross-functional activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develops detailed project schedules, identifies critical path activities, and adjusts plans as needed.
• Monitors risks, issues, and changes and recommends options to maintain delivery commitments.
• Facilitates collaboration between Engineering, Operations, Installation, and Supply Chain throughout the project.
• Communicates project status, key decisions, and progress to internal teams and customers.
• Maintains project budgets, identifies variances, and supports corrective actions.
• Ensures technical and project documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.
• Leads coordination of equipment readiness, logistics, and installation planning.
• Prepares project reports, summaries, and closeout documentation.
