Job summary

WesTech Engineering, LLC. in Salt Lake City seeks a Project Manager 2 to coordinate internal and external resources and fulfill contractual project requirements.

You will communicate with customers on scheduling and equipment needs and lead entire job sections or sub-sections as assigned. The role involves pre-employment screenings and requires the ability to manage budgets, milestones, vendor activities, and review purchase orders, contracts, and engineering drawings for successful project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of relevant experience, including internships or equivalent work.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally when needed.
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Ability to complete projects to completion and work with others.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, and English proficiency.
• Ability to read and understand engineering specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources to fulfill project requirements.
• Communicate with customers on scheduling and equipment needs.
• Oversee entire job sections or sub-sections as assigned.
• Provide equipment estimates and maintain budgets and margins.
• Meet job section milestone dates and maintain checklists.
• Review purchase orders, contracts, and technical specifications.
• Oversee engineering and design of equipment.
• Coordinate vendor activities and prepare purchase requisitions.
• Interact with customers to schedule, extract requirements, and shipment details.
• Update Team Manager weekly on status and progress for scheduling.
