Job summary

Wright‑Ryan Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager - Field Operations to lead residential and commercial projects from preconstruction to completion.

This hybrid position collaborates with Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Engineers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality craftsmanship. You will develop plans, manage schedules, oversee subcontractors, and contribute to client relationships while maintaining rigorous documentation and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing construction projects, including preconstruction and/or estimating.
• Experience with conceptual and schematic budgeting is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction financials and financial risk and application to job site work.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Exceptional customer service skills to manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Coordinate with Foreman, Superintendents, and Project Engineers to ensure scheduling and execution.
• Develop and manage preconstruction and project schedules.
• Prepare GMP proposals with accurate pricing and detailed estimates.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor proposals and identify scope gaps.
• Manage project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes).
• Oversee subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and change order negotiations.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to budget and client expectations.
• Support business development and client relationship strengthening.
