Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead a certification-focused initiative for a technology sector leader. The role manages cross-functional projects to protect and enable sales across Europe, with a hybrid arrangement requiring two onsite days per week in Durham, NC, and flexibility for European business hours.

The manager will coordinate global teams, manage plans, timelines, budgets, and risks, and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience
• Experience on certification, compliance, regulatory, or governance projects
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Experience coordinating stakeholders across geographies and time zones
• Experience with European teams and aligning schedules

Responsibilities

• Lead certification and compliance-related projects from initiation through completion
• Align outcomes with business objectives focused on protecting and enabling sales in Europe
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, compliance, sales, and technical resources
• Facilitate communication between North American and European stakeholders for project execution
• Track project performance, provide status updates, and present progress reports to leadership
• Identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and objectives
