Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead certification and compliance initiatives, aligning with business goals and enabling sales across Europe. The role supports cross-functional teams and requires onsite presence in Durham, NC two days per week, with some European hours.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in complex PM roles, experience with certification/regulatory projects, and a PMP/PRINCE2 preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in certification, compliance, regulatory, or governance projects.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple regions/time zones.
• Experience working with European teams and some European hours.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or comparable certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in specified fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification and compliance-related projects from initiation through completion.
• Align project outcomes with business objectives focused on protecting and enabling sales across European markets.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, compliance teams, sales leadership, and technical resources.
• Facilitate communication between North American and European stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Track project performance, provide status updates, and present progress reports to leadership.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and organizational objectives.
