Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead a certification-focused initiative for a technology industry leader. The role coordinates cross-border programs to protect and enable sales across Europe, with hybrid work requiring two onsite days per week in Durham, NC and some European hours.

You will manage plans, budgets, timelines, and risks, align outcomes with business objectives, and collaborate with stakeholders across North America and Europe to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience on cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience supporting certification, compliance, regulatory, or governance projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different geographic regions and time zones.
• Experience working with European teams and willingness to support some European business hours.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or comparable certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification and compliance-related projects from initiation through completion.
• Align project outcomes with business objectives focused on protecting and enabling sales across European markets.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, compliance teams, sales leadership, and technical resources.
• Facilitate communication between North American and European stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Track project performance, provide status updates, and present progress reports to leadership.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and organizational objectives.
