Job summary

DLR Group, a design firm, is seeking a Project Manager in its Texas region. You will oversee multiple projects, coordinate with consultants, and manage schedules, budgets, and fees while upholding design excellence.

The role offers ownership potential within a 100% employee-owned firm and a hybrid work model balancing office time with remote work. The position requires extensive project management experience, a relevant degree, licensure preferred, and strong communication skills to lead teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design.
• Large project experience preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years as a project manager.
• Professional licensure preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in Vantagepoint, Planifi, INDEPRO, and Microsoft Suite (including Project).
• High proficiency in standard A/E/I/P software.
• Strong working knowledge of design techniques, tools, and sustainable design principles for producing technical plans, drawings, and models.
• Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Working knowledge of local building and zoning codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of one or more projects, including managing project teams and coordinating with external consultants.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and fees with high standards of quality and design excellence.
• Be accountable for the financial success of the project and keeping it on track within budget.
• Support business development by participating in RFQ, RFP, and interview processes.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, vendors, and consultants to meet client expectations for scope, quality, budget, and schedule.
