Job summary

HGA's Boston, MA office is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead architecture projects on the Science + Technology team. You will independently manage multiple projects from concept through completion, overseeing budgets, schedules, staffing, and design quality.

The role requires a professional degree in Architecture and at least 10 years of experience, with 3 years in project management; licensure preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of architectural and project management experience, with at least 3 years in a PM role.
• Architectural licensure preferred or in progress.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Deep understanding of building codes, construction methods, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
• Develop and oversee project work plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing.
• Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and code compliance throughout all phases.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, building trust and ensuring satisfaction.
• Lead presentations, facilitate approvals, and translate client goals into actionable strategies.
• Direct and mentor project teams, coordinating consultants and stakeholders.
• Manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
