Job summary

Moog seeks a Project Engineer to join the Military Aircraft Group in Buffalo, NY. The role supports supplier quality development and manufacturing engineering with a hybrid work option and first shift onsite in East Aurora, NY.

The ideal candidate holds a technical bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in manufacturing engineering and 2 years in project management, driving PPAP, PRA, and supplier collaboration to keep programs on track.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years Manufacturing Engineering experience, plus 2 years Project Management experience.
This job requires access to United States export‑controlled information.

Responsibilities

Track and monitor SQD part milestones, audits, PRAs, PPAP element completion, and issue resolution.
Coordinate Make-to-Buy/Buy-to-Buy parts, NPI, and problem parts for timely execution and compliance.
Improve PRA and PPAP processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure documentation for each component is completed, verified, and stored.
Assign Part Risk Assessments to Manufacturing Engineers based on ownership and skills.
Drive continuous improvement in PRA and PPAP processes to meet standards.
Provide hands‑on supplier support to resolve issues and maintain schedules.
Execute Manufacturing Engineering tasks as needed when a colleague is unavailable.
Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
Guide and coach PPAP element execution and team members.
Deliver SQD updates to SCPMs and other departments for alignment.
Travel up to 15% may be required.
