Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Project Costs Analyst to support Capital and O&M project controls, budgeting, and forecasting. Based in The Woodlands, TX, the role reports to the Commercial Asset Management group within the Power Generation division, offering hybrid work options and interaction with Plant leadership and Finance Partners.

The Analyst I–III level is determined by your background and experience. A strong grasp of MS Office, cost estimation tools, and financial policies will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
• Analyst II requires 2+ years of business experience in banking, finance, or project development or 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Analyst III requires 4+ years of experience in banking, finance, or project development or 6+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with plant colleagues to gather information for project controls management.
• Coordinate with Finance Business Partners to understand costs and capital vs. O&M determinations.
• Develop indirect cost estimates for capital project proposals using Entergy’s cost estimating tool.
• Understand and use Entergy’s project management and accounting systems.
• Follow Entergy’s System Approval Policy and Capital Approval Policy.
• Support budget planning and risk management processes to fund projects.
