Job summary

Temple University’s Project Delivery Group seeks a Project Architect/Manager to lead planning, design, and construction for capital projects. The role acts as the owner’s representative and design lead, coordinating with Construction Project Manager to ensure design intent, code compliance, and alignment with university standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineer or a related degree.
• Minimum of five years of experience in the profession.
• Demonstrated experience in space planning, programming, design, construction document production and/or construction administration.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design process as the University’s owner’s representative.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project programs, space requirements, and scopes.
• Procure, manage, and coordinate architectural, engineering, and specialty consultants.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate communication among stakeholders and contractors.
• Provide architectural leadership to meet quality, functionality, and user experience goals.
