Job summary

University of Baltimore seeks a Capital Project Manager to guide the design and construction of the university's capital program. You will manage budgets, track deferred maintenance, and help develop a 10-year plan while supervising contractors to ensure project success.

You will act as a primary contact for internal facilities requests, provide data-driven space planning insights, and promote inclusive design, safety, and sustainability across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct project management experience in design or construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct capital project design and construction activities.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and compliance for capital programs.
• Coordinate space planning and utilization to support campus growth.
• Supervise contractors/consultants and maintain project documentation.
• Develop and communicate capital plans, including risk and performance metrics.
