Job summary

Archinect in Atlanta seeks a junior architect to join a top Southeast design studio focused on contemporary residential architecture. You will participate in design, documentation, coordination with consultants, client communication, detailing, permitting, and construction administration.

The position is full-time and in-office; you must live in the Atlanta area. After an initial training period, remote work 1–3 days per week may be considered to accommodate relocation or flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years experience in an architecture firm setting.
• General familiarity with the logistics and standards of putting together a set of construction documents.
• A passion for modern/contemporary design, even if not experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Proficiency with at least one rendering platform and moderate rendering skills.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and other graphics programs to produce high-quality client presentations as well as Microsoft Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, documentation, consultant coordination, client communication, detailing, permitting and construction administration.
• Work directly with the principal and participate in project involvement beyond typical roles.
• Contribute to design development and production of construction documents and presentations.
