Job summary

Archinect is seeking an Architectural Designer / Project Architect in Orange County for a full-time, hybrid role. The candidate should have at least two years of professional architecture experience, with strong AutoCAD 2D and SketchUp skills, and must communicate clearly in English.

The role involves developing drawings, coordinating revisions, and collaborating with a small team on residential projects. Starting salary is $75,000 per year, with a 4-day office / 1 day remote schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional architecture experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting.
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal professional English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a small team.
• Residential architecture experience is preferred.
• Architecture degree preferred.
• Architectural license is not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop architectural drawings and construction documents.
• Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create and update 3D models and presentations using SketchUp.
• Assist with residential project design and development.
• Coordinate drawing revisions throughout various phases of a project.
• Work closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and other team members.
• Help maintain project organization, drawing standards, and deadlines.
• Participate in project meetings and design coordination as needed.
