Job summary

Toastmasters International, a renowned educational nonprofit, seeks a Project Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting and ERP-related initiatives. You will liaise between Finance, IT, and external vendors, and support month-end close, reconciliations, and audits.

The role is hybrid (some remote days, typically 3 per week on-site in Englewood, CO). Requires 4-year degree in accounting or related field and 3–4+ years in GL and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Accounting or Business with accounting concentration.
• 3-4+ years experience in general ledger, month-end close, and account analysis.
• 3-4+ years experience working with ERP or financial systems.
• Results-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance contributions to IT development work, including testing plans and timelines.
• Review data for GAAP compliance and accuracy of journal entries and reports.
• Validate journal entries, financial reports, and payment processing for accuracy.
• Provide solutions for project risks and accounting issues; coordinate testing of new accounting functionality.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations; support ERP initiatives.
• Serve as Finance liaison for projects and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Assist with year-end audit requests and department budgets; cross-train as needed.
