Portland General Electric in Oregon seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead wildfire program initiatives. You will plan, execute and control projects across engineering, data science, analytics and risk management, coordinating with Supply Chain, Legal, IT, and field operations to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, communications or fire science, 5+ years in project management, and PMI or PE

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, communications or fire science required.
  • 5+ years of related field experience.
  • PE and/or PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a single moderate-sized project or multiple smaller projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Legal, IT, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and report status to sponsors.
  • Ensure compliance with PM methodologies and governance.
