Job summary

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM) is seeking a Program Manager to oversee and coordinate a variety of initiatives, including in-person and virtual training events and participant support. The role requires strong judgment, effective problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate will bring three years of public policy or advocacy experience, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent research, writing, and public speaking abilities.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and perspectives.
• Three years’ experience in public policy or advocacy.
• Familiarity with social media and marketing practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate trainings, webinars, and conferences for NAM.
• Oversee event logistics, budgets, registrations, and speaker coordination.
• Support leadership development programs and related committees.
• Travel across Nebraska to support events, trainings, and outreach.
• Collect data for reporting and evaluation of programs.
• Foster an inclusive, accessible environment for NAM events.
