Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University seeks a Program Specialist GA 1 to support HR programs including Career Development, Business Analytics & Decision Support, and Learning & Development. You will collaborate with HR teams and stakeholders to plan, organize and deliver program activities, including data dashboards and ROI analyses.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and across teams in a hybrid setting with 2-3 days

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant experience in project operations, HR programs, or organizational effectiveness.
• Self-directed, outcome-oriented and detail-oriented.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; collaboration and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support to program managers.
• Engage in planning, organization and execution of tasks for programs including career pathing, performance management, staff surveys, and Tableau dashboards.
• Utilize technologies to ensure accurate, reliable data for HR stakeholders.
• Coordinate timelines, project plans, scheduling, and deliverables of assigned projects.
• Conduct data analysis and support assessment of program ROI.
• Actively engage in special projects that move the OE department forward.
