Job summary

Clark County Public Works seeks a Program Coordinator I to lead administration of the Clean Water Fee, the primary funding source for the Clean Water Division’s programs. This role serves as the main contact for customer service and coordinating outreach across divisions.

The position includes managing appeals, developing reports, coordinating site visits, and supporting incentive programs for ratepayers. A hybrid schedule is offered, with residency requirements to be in Oregon or Washington

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience relative to the assignment.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of program management, budgeting, and policy interpretation.
  • Ability to write clear reports, memoranda and letters.
  • Experience communicating with diverse stakeholders and ratepayers.
  • Ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and interpret policy directives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration of the Clean Water Fee program.
  • Provide customer service to Clean Water Fee ratepayers (phone, email, mail).
  • Develop public outreach materials and communications.
  • Coordinate appeals and disputes regarding Clean Water Fees.
  • Update and implement county code, policies and procedures.
