Job summary

REBUILDING TOGETHER MINNESOTA is seeking a Program and Construction Director to oversee high‑quality home repair services across the Twin Cities Metro and portions of Southwest Minnesota. The role requires 5–7 years in residential construction management with 3–5 years leading field teams and a strong emphasis on nonprofit partnerships and community impact.

The position is hybrid, reports to the Executive Director, and sits on the senior leadership team.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of residential construction management experience, including 3–5 years leading field teams.
• Minnesota Contractor’s License exam passed, or within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: degree in construction management or business; or 7–10 years PM exp in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of housing for low‑income homeowners, older adults and people with disabilities.
• Nonprofit experience and working with diverse populations is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce and Google Workspace; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and resolve client conflicts.
• Build relationships with clients, volunteers, and strategic partners.
• Develop subcontractor relationships and manage bids; ensure licenses, permits and insurance.
• Support budgeting with grant funding projections and staffing needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and provide ongoing safety training.
• Oversee program services and site visits to confirm client satisfaction and obtain sign‑offs.
