Job summary

The Master Scheduler is a Propelis role based in Butler, PA. This position develops, maintains, and executes daily and short-range production schedules for a single facility, coordinating with Project Management, Production, Purchasing, and Operations to meet customer commitments through optimal use of labor, equipment, and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field; equivalent manufacturing planning experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to develop and maintain complex planning models, capacity analysis tools, production schedules, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM and CSCP certifications preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing Certification and Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Advanced ERP/MRP planning system training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and short-range production schedules.
• Sequence work to maximize equipment utilization, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Balance workloads across departments and work centers within the facility.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address changing priorities or constraints.
• Provide regular capacity and schedule status updates to plant leadership.
