Job summary

Holtec is seeking a Production Scheduler to support Operations by developing and maintaining production schedules that meet customer commitments. The role uses Primavera, MS Project, and Excel to track progress, assess risks, and optimize workflow.

You will coordinate with multiple teams to ensure on‑time delivery. The ideal candidate has 0–3 years in scheduling or related fields, a relevant degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, Operations, or related technical discipline preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in production scheduling or related fields preferred.
• Experience with MS Project and advanced Excel functions preferred.
• Knowledge of scheduling, forecasting, resource planning, and project management principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyze production data; strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to work in office and manufacturing environments with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update production schedules with critical paths and resource needs.
• Coordinate with Operations, Production, and Project teams to align schedules with priorities and commitments.
• Gather, analyze, and report project and production data, including manpower and progress metrics.
• Monitor schedule performance and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Apply standardized work breakdown structures and templates across projects.
• Utilize Primavera, MS Project, Excel, and other tools to develop and maintain schedules.
• Identify schedule risks and opportunities for process improvements.
• Track milestones, activities, and impacts; suggest corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve scheduling conflicts and improve efficiency.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and planning documentation as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
