Job summary

SLR Consulting in New York seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and improve our global infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will work hands-on with servers, storage, networking, virtualization, backup and monitoring to ensure stability, performance and security of services supporting our operations.

Reporting to the Regional Infrastructure Manager, you will troubleshoot issues, perform server builds, manage AD/Entra ID, Azure resources, backups, and monitoring,

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT support, systems administration, networking, or cloud operations.
• Strong experience with core infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, networking, VMs).
• Practical knowledge of AD/Entra ID, patching, and enterprise management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues with 3rd-line support.
• Perform server builds, OS hardening, patching, and configuration baseline enforcement.
• Manage AD/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and MFA implementations.
• Support Azure VMs, storage accounts, VNets, and ASR configurations.
• Administer SAN/NAS platforms and backup systems; participate in DR tests.
• Document infrastructure diagrams and maintain configuration records.
