USAA Life Insurance Company in multiple U.S. offices seeks a Development Product Owner for Property Pricing and UW Modernization (Mid Level).

The role requires office presence four days per week in San Antonio, Plano, Colorado Springs, Phoenix, Chesapeake, or Tampa. You will bridge business and technical teams, write user stories, maintain backlogs, and ensure clear acceptance criteria while guiding agile delivery and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
• 4 years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis or related operations.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, applicable databases and project management tools.
• Proficient knowledge with multiple software delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficient experience analyzing business requirements and identifying opportunities to streamline business.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business on an agile team for Property Pricing and UW Modernization.
• Collaborate across business and technical teams to deliver value and navigate change.
• Write and refine user stories, prioritize work, and guide technical teams.
• Own and maintain a prioritized backlog for one or more Agile teams.
• Review outputs with IT and business to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
