USAA Life Insurance Company seeks an Intermediate Software Engineer to join an Agile team supporting the Property Core Platform for homeowners and related products. You will design, develop, and test features, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to modernization efforts across legacy and modern stacks.

You will grow technical expertise, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and help deliver reliable solutions for members.

Qualifications

• Experience with software development across the full lifecycle.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices and troubleshooting in production.
• Exposure to AI-assisted engineering practices is a plus.
• Experience with both legacy and modern technology stacks, including cloud components.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions.
• Investigates and resolves complex application and system issues in production.
• Improve operations by performing systems analysis and recommending policy changes.
• Follow the software development lifecycle and ensure security/compliance requirements are met.
