Job summary

Aquent in New York is seeking a Product Owner to drive the Privacy Readiness project, implementing OneTrust and governance processes to align with GDPR/CCPA. You will own product development and prioritization for DSAR or Consent and Preference Management, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to meet project goals.

Lead cross-functional workstreams, manage plans and budgets, and develop stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Strong project management skills with experience as a product owner or similar role on a technology implementation project.
• Ability to work independently as well as drive results by collaborating with stakeholders to build consensus.
• Demonstrated ability to be well organized, detail oriented, and flexible to handle multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills and strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and oral) with all levels of the organization.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations and creating documentation that can be consumed by users of diverse background and skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal business and cross-functional teams; engage vendors and stakeholders; monitor project activity throughout the life cycle.
• Establish work plans, administer meetings, assign and track tasks, develop status reports, and monitor budget and financials.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as business requirements, stakeholder list, and risk register; develop and implement relevant plans.
• Develop messaging and communication strategy to engage stakeholders and gain alignment.
• Conduct research and benchmarking to stay informed of new legislation, trends, and best practices.
• Perform testing related to changes to business processes and systems, including detailed test plans and cases; resolve issues with business/technical staff.
• Support a customer-centric culture and assist external and internal stakeholders.
