Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is seeking a Production Design & Experience Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Columbus, IN. You’ll shape a unified telematics experience across TMHNA brands, including MyInsights and iWarehouse, by researching user needs and shaping future-state opportunities.

You’ll collaborate across Product, UX, Operations, Engineering, IT, and Business to produce journey maps, prototypes, and prioritized requirements for executive-ready deliverables.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program with coursework or experience in UX, HCI, or product development.
• Ability to translate ambiguous inputs into structured findings and recommendations.
• Experience creating journey maps, user flows, and prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Support product and UX research through interviews, workflow observation, and customer feedback.
• Develop end-to-end experience models for MyInsights and iWarehouse using personas and journey maps.
• Contribute to usability assessments including heuristic evaluation and information-architecture review.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and IT to map the connected-solutions ecosystem and data flows.
• Analyze experience gaps by linking user friction to business rules and system constraints.
• Help define future-state experiences with target journeys and wireframes.
• Translate research findings into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in prioritizing recommendations based on value, usability, and feasibility.
• Maintain traceable research artifacts and communicate findings in reviews and dashboards.
