Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) in California seeks multiple Product Engineers to support a HE product realization program within the DTED division. You will contribute to material characterization, process development, producibility, and release of product definitions to production facilities.

Roles may be hybrid with some in-person and remote work. Open to candidates with knowledge of engineering drawings, requirements development, and testing processes; experience in

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required for DOE Q clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in product development, realization, or manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T basics helpful.
• Experience with design reviews, testing, and data analysis.
• Willingness to travel for program needs.

Responsibilities

• Support release of complex HE PRT drawings and documentation.
• Develop and document engineering requirements; maturation of specs.
• Contribute to safety and engineering documentation.
• Support testing operations and analyze results; write reports.
• Evaluate producibility, manufacturability, and process adjustments.
• Participate in design reviews and program reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
