Waymo’s Product Data Science team partners with Product Managers, Engineers, and Operations to drive decisions through data. The role focuses on measuring business performance, building data pipelines, and delivering insightful reports and visualizations across the Waymo Driver product landscape.

The position requires 3+ years of technical experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and the ability to communicate with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong ability to scope, structure, and solve ambiguous problems independently.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL to design and implement data pipelines.
• Solid statistical knowledge and data intuition.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Program Managers to identify metrics and design data pipelines and reports.
• Develop deep understanding of metrics, datasets, and data sources across the product landscape.
• Build and maintain reporting infrastructure to enable continuous decision making.
