Job summary

SENKO Advanced Components in Poway, CA is seeking a Procurement Planner I to manage inventory for standard vendor accounts, schedule air shipments, and minimize freight costs. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at least three days a week (Tue–Thu) with standard hours Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PT.

You will work with inside sales to adjust inventory, create POs, enter orders, track shipments, and generate periodic reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; supply chain management preferred.
• 2–3 years’ experience with inventory management.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage part numbers in ERP system.
• Prepare and enter internal and external purchase orders.
• Negotiate product pricing with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inside sales on demand changes.
• Track purchase order status with vendors and couriers.
