Job summary

Mavensoft Technologies, LLC in Portland, OR seeks an Associate Procurement Specialist for a 4‑month W2 contract in a hybrid setup (3 days on-site, 2 remote).

You will handle transactional procurement, process requisitions and POs, assist with low‑risk sourcing, and support contract management to keep the source‑to‑pay cycle running smoothly.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–2 years in procurement, with ERP experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years in supply chain, procurement, or related fields; ERP/Procurement systems familiarity preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication ability.

Responsibilities

• Process all purchase requisitions (POs & COs) in compliance with PGE’s procurement policies.
• Validate purchase requests and ensure accuracy of documentation; conduct basic purchasing support.
• Develop RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for simple sourcing events and negotiate pricing for routine buys.
• Help draft and execute contracts, apply extensions, and maintain supplier performance reports.
• Manage procurement tickets (e.g., ServiceNow) and ensure timely handoffs with Category Buyers.
