Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Procurement Analyst to oversee complex procurement functions and asset management, exercising independent judgment to support firm-wide acquisitions. You will develop supplier specs, run RFx, negotiate terms, and manage PO lifecycles, while driving cost savings and process improvements across professional services teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5–7 years in related fields, and proficiency with Coupa and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or combination of education and experience.
• 5–7 years’ experience in a related field, preferably in professional services.
• Ability to work independently and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and drive cost savings through sourcing.
• Strong service orientation for internal and external stakeholders, including executives.
• Experience with Coupa and advanced Excel; ability to learn new tools quickly.
• CPSM or similar procurement certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with firm policies and monitor sourcing processes.
• Develop product/service specifications with procurement and business areas.
• Obtain competitive costs via RFx processes and supplier assessments.
• Negotiate costs, delivery schedules, and terms with suppliers and attorneys.
• Create and manage purchase orders through full lifecycle.
• Monitor deliveries, expedite shipments, and address supplier issues.
• Support contract management and KPI tracking across procurement systems.
