Job summary

Oscar is hiring an Associate, Process Optimization to join our Eligibility and Billing team in Tempe. The role focuses on designing, optimizing, and implementing processes across stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Process Improvement and work in a hybrid Tempe office with 3 days in the office weekly. Base pay ranges with benefits and annual bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting.
• 2+ years with data tools such as Excel, SQL, Python.
• 2+ years in end-to-end project management.
• 2+ years designing and improving workflows and related procedures.
• 2+ years with lean, Six Sigma or theory of constraints.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end cross-functional implementations with project plans and stakeholder engagement.
• Evaluates departmental performance using data and metrics and helps develop metrics.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to design change management and risk mitigation strategies.
• Mentors team members and supports professional development.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
