Oscar is hiring an Associate, Process Optimization for the Eligibility and Billing team in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on designing, optimizing, and implementing processes to improve operations across multiple stakeholders.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Process Improvement. The position is hybrid, requiring three days in the Tempe office per week, with Thursdays as in-office days for team meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years commensurate experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering and/or consulting.
• 2+ years of experience using data software such as Excel, SQL, Python or other data analytics tools.
• 2+ years of experience with end to end project management.
• 2+ years of experience in designing and improving workflows and standing up operating and technical procedures.
• 2+ years of experience with Lean, Six Sigma and/or Theory of Constraints.

About the role:

The Associate, Process Optimization is responsible for working cross functionally with business and technical Oscar stakeholders and representing the needs and interests of the department in company wide strategic initiatives and in solving business problems related to internal processes. The position leads the design, optimization, and implementation of processes and improvements to operations in support of achieving organizational goals. This requires collecting and documenting business requirements, building and managing project plans, documenting key project decisions, managing project governance, applying frameworks, analyzing data, and developing and communicating risk mitigation strategies across disparate initiatives and stakeholders at the same time.

You will report into Senior Manager, Process Improvement.

Work Location: This position is based in our Tempe, Arizona office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $87,188 - $114,434 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
