Wilson Elser's Intellectual Property and Technology Team seeks an Attorney with a strong litigation background to join a fast-paced and dynamic national team focused on Intellectual Property and Technology transactional law and litigation; privacy, AI and data governance; internet law; advertising law and other related industry‑specific areas to take the next step in their career by becoming part of a national law firm with a wide range of resources and opportunities.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice in the State of California.
• 5-15 years of experience with intellectual property litigation.
• Federal/State court litigation experience with motions.
• Experience taking/defending depositions.
• Experience with privacy, AI and data governance and/or data privacy litigation is preferred.
• Experience with advertising law, art law, fashion law, internet law and/or transactional matters is a plus.
• Strong analytical, writing, client service, and professional communications skills.

Responsabilités

• Day-to-day management of a litigation caseload and counseling clients in IP, data privacy, AI governance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and Partners on legal projects.
• Prosecute and defend lawsuits involving copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets; data privacy matters.
• Advise on data privacy compliance, AI governance, and data governance matters.
• Assist with transactional matters including asset purchase agreements, collaboration agreements, and licensing.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
