Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Signal Integrity Engineer – R&D Storage to define signal and power integrity strategy and architect next-generation storage networks. Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in signal integrity, power integrity, PCB design, and high-speed system architecture.
• Expert in high-speed digital system design, electromagnetic theory, and channel optimization.
• Experience leading SI/PI strategies across large product developments; mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define SI/PI strategy, design standards, and engineering best practices across storage hardware.
• Lead SI/PI architecture for next-gen storage systems from concept to production.
• Provide technical leadership for high-speed interfaces and SerDes technologies.
• Establish PCB stack-ups, routing architectures, and validation approaches for scalable success.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and drive resolution of complex SI/PI challenges.
• Develop advanced simulation methodologies and automated design processes.
• Drive SI technology readiness for future storage generations and novel architectures.
• Lead root-cause investigations for SI/PI issues across field, validation, and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with PCB, mechanical, thermal, and system architects to optimize performance.
• Mentor engineers and build SI expertise across sites; act as final escalation for SI decisions.
