Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience noted as less than 1 year.
• Certification/license requirement for Physician Assistants (PA) and BLS eligibility.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused examinations.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic disease.
• Provide preventive care and health counseling.
• Educate patients and families about treatment, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice.
• Participate in population health and quality-improvement initiatives.
