Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Pricing Strategy and Planning Analyst III to optimize aftermarket parts pricing across the lifecycle. You will model financial impacts, conduct market research, and collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing to maximize revenue and margins.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to present actionable insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to perform quantitative analysis using large datasets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot, v-lookup, if-statement).
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to assess price position and trends.
• Analyze product profitability including cost to serve and margins.
• Propose pricing recommendations using data analysis and market research with financial models.
• Prepare and present key findings to internal stakeholders.
• Manage the pricing tool for assigned parts segments to execute recommendations.
• Ensure timely development and maintenance of the Aftermarket Price Book.
