Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Pricing Analytics professional to optimize pricing across the aftermarket parts lifecycle, driving revenue and margin while aligning with Purchasing, Sales and Marketing.

You will analyze large datasets, build financial models, and present findings to stakeholders. This hybrid role based in Fort Mill, SC offers a strong compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a quantitative field or related experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant pricing/analytical experience.

Inside the Role

This position is responsible for effectively optimizing pricing over the life cycle of aftermarket parts in order to maximize revenue and margin, and support overall product, dealer and customer objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing large amounts of data to assess current trends, propose pricing strategies and model financial impacts. Examples of projects include market research, modeling pricing elasticity, testing new pricing strategies, and modeling revenue and profit impacts, while aligning with cross-functional departments like Purchasing, Sales and Marketing.

Position offers a startingsalary range of $95,000 to $121,000 USD

What You Drive at DTNA

• Conduct market research in order to accurately assess the market price position and trends
• Analyze product profitability including cost to serve, pocket margin, volume based price discount structures and profitability thresholds
• Propose pricing recommendations using data analysis and market research, and develop financial models to quantify financial impacts
• Prepare and present key findings to internal stakeholders
• Manage and administer the assigned parts segments within the pricing tool in order to execute pricing recommendations
• Ensure the timely and accurate development and maintenance of DTNA’s Aftermarket Price Book
• Work cross functionally with internal departments as well as external stakeholders to ensure inputs are accurately incorporated in the pricing strategy
• Resolve pricing issues, discrepancies and questions
• Continuously identify areas for improvement in pricing processes, policies, procedures, systems and training

Knowledge You Should Bring

• BS/BA and prefer 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to perform quantitative analysis using large datasets
• Advance Microsoft Excel skills (pivot, v-lookup, if-statement)
• Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision required
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to present recommendations
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with other teams

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

• SQL/SAS/STATA/ programming experience
• Bachelors degree in quantitative field-Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline
