Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a pricing analyst to assist Sales in developing hospital client pricing strategies and executing bid pricing. The role analyzes customer needs, market trends and profitability to propose initial pricing, with additional duties such as test mapping and profitability reviews.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or marketing, and at least two years of financial analysis experience, plus strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or marketing.
• 2 years of experience in financial analysis, revenue or profitability analysis.
• Proficient in Excel; strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple customers.
• Excellent communication to convey results at all levels.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Hospital Business with pricing and profitability analyses to retain profitable customers and win new prospects.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop client-specific pricing strategies.
• Analyze customer segmentation data to develop test-specific pricing proposals.
• Develop P&L for new proposals showing impact and upsell potential.
• Provide pricing and profitability insights to Account Analysts.
• Map client utilization to Quest test codes and perform quality checks.
• Coordinate changes with the billing department to execute pricing proposals.
• Assist Regional Finance Director with ad-hoc pricing analysis.
• Support pricing analyses for Group Purchasing Organizations and National Accounts.
• Contribute to special projects as needed.
