Job summary

CU Denver is seeking a Prevention, Education, and Outreach Coordinator to advance equity initiatives on the Auraria Campus. The role develops trainings on nondiscrimination, sexual misconduct, and related policies, and supports bystander intervention and reporting resources.

The position involves in-person and remote trainings, collaboration with the CU Anschutz team, and updating OE materials and online training platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Education, Social Sciences, Social Work, Ethnic Studies, Public Administration, Communications, Sociology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of professional training experience in higher education, human resources, diversity/inclusion, advocacy, civil rights investigations, or related field.
• Preferred: Master's degree and 2+ years of facilitating workshops in DEI and prevention education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate in-person and remote trainings for CU Denver students and employees, including bystander intervention and consent education.
• Ensure trainings comply with university policies and applicable federal and state laws (Title VI, VII, IX, VAWA, Clery Act).
• Build relationships with CU Denver stakeholders to tailor trainings to their needs.
• Manage online CANVAS and Percipio trainings for students and employees.
• Create marketing materials and outreach content for OE programs.
