Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Premium Technical Underwriter to partner with E&S, Premium Audit and Billing teams to process and bill premium audits.

This hybrid role supports office-based work with one day WFH and requires collaboration across underwriting and billing to resolve issues and ensure processing standards. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 2+ years in P&C insurance rating, quoting or issuance, with strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills and excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two or more years insurance experience related to rate, quote, and issuance of P&C Insurance preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excels with office software.

Responsibilities

• Partner with E&S division to establish end-to-end premium audits processes.
• Assist with rating questions on final audits and coordinate with departments to rate and issue audits.
• Help resolve uncooperative or unproductive audits with stakeholders.
• Negotiate final premium audits for processing and invoicing to agents or insured.
• Clarify rating questions to conclude premium audit endorsements.
• Support implementing negotiated payment terms on final audits.
• Follow up on outstanding audit premiums and aid collection efforts.
• Assist with mid-term policy cancellations when needed.
• Participate in regulatory and compliance projects and filings.
