Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Account Executive to manage day-to-day client accounts, coordinating tactics across programs including content, media relations, analyst relations, blogger relations, social media, and events.

Based in a hybrid position in Boston or Richmond, you will collaborate with teams, maintain client relationships, and deliver high-quality materials on deadlines while growing your PR skills in a fast-paced tech agency.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of Public Relations, Marketing, Communications experience, or related industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English or related area of study.
• Superb organizational, project and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Strong ability to write and communicate clearly and concisely.
• Passion for creating excellent high-quality deliverables.
• Strong spirit of collaboration, highly self-motivated and results-driven with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of client accounts and execute tactics as specified in client programs.
• Coordinate content creation, media relations, blogger relations, social media, and press materials.
• Pitch and staff interviews, identify targets, and secure placements across media and analysts.
• Prepare materials for client meetings, recaps, and measurement presentations.
• Contribute to agency marketing efforts including social media, blog posts, and WordPress updates.
• Attend client meetings and build trust with client contacts and teams.
• Travel may be required.
