Job summary

TotalEnergies is seeking a CPPA Power Marketing Associate to support the North America CPPA team in securing offtake, analyzing PPA terms, and building market data tools. This role offers growth potential within the integrated power business across diverse markets and products.

The candidate will work in a hybrid setup, based in Berkeley, CA or Houston, TX, with strong Excel/PowerPoint usage and collaboration across teams to deliver structured power solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Post-graduate degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble proposals and RFP responses for offtake from TTE‑owned projects.
• Conduct quantitative analysis on deal terms and support deal leads in PPA negotiations.
• Monitor and forecast power price trends across various U.S. energy markets.
• Gather and analyze data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions to support offtake strategy.
• Devise and build tools for collecting and analyzing market data using statistical software.
• Convert complex data and findings into clear tables, graphs, and written reports.
• Present results to management.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing and origination strategies.
• Support strategic initiatives undertaken by the team.
