Job summary

Leidos Engineering in the United States is seeking an experienced Project Controller/Project Cost Analyst to join our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will work with project managers and engineering leads to provide comprehensive Project Management Services supporting utility clients, ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.

The role is hybrid with remote capabilities; occasional travel to client sites in Kentucky (Louisville/Lexington) may be required, and ideal candidates reside in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related field.
• Three (3) + years of relevant project controls and/or cost analysis experience.
• PowerPlan enterprise project performance software experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in electric power infrastructure project contexts (transmission/substation/distribution).
• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6 and strong MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing, monitoring and maintaining engineering and construction project budgets for various sized transmission & distribution projects for public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities.
• Using earned value management techniques to ensure forecasts and costs are aligned, including recovery plans to stay within approved limits.
• Sharing team utilization metrics and coordinating with COE to maintain alignment with project objectives and resource requirements.
• Partnering with Engineering Leads and Managers to track and execute client deliverables.
• Developing and producing weekly/monthly project control reports for client and internal management review.
• Interfacing with the client and internal management to report progress, schedule and risks across a portfolio of electrical distribution projects.
• Assisting the project manager with creation and maintenance of comprehensive project dashboard reports and KPI tracking.
