Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Controller/Project Cost Analyst to join our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will collaborate with project managers and engineering leads to provide comprehensive management services, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of critical electric utility projects.

The role emphasizes earned value management, cost control, and robust reporting across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
3+ years of project controls and/or cost analysis experience.
PowerPlan enterprise project performance software knowledge preferred.
Experience in electric power infrastructure projects (transmission/substation/distribution).
Strong cost and schedule tracking, MS Project/Primavera proficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop, monitor and maintain budgets for transmission and distribution projects.
Use earned value management to align forecasts and costs; develop recovery plans.
Share utilization metrics with COE to align with objectives and resources.
Track client deliverables with Engineering Leads and Managers.
Produce weekly/monthly project control reports for clients and internal review.
Report progress, schedule and risks across a portfolio of projects to stakeholders.
Create and maintain project dashboards and KPI tracking.
