Job summary

TechNix LLC in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a qualified Project Manager for the State of Oklahoma DOH PMO. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site presence required, driving projects from initiation through closure.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely, within-budget delivery aligned to agency goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong familiarity with and/or the ability to use MS Project.
• Understanding and experience with the PMBOK Guide and Standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Well-organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to extra-large complexity projects through full project life cycle activities utilizing appropriate methodologies and tools, planning and communication, and acquire, develop, and manage the project team.
• Perform all standard project management deliverables including scope and objectives, change management, risk mitigation, budgeting, stakeholder communication, project and vendor engagement, subject matter expert utilization, implementation, and project closure.
• Develop and manage project status reports for communicating with project stakeholders and reporting key metrics for the PMO dashboard.
• Implement change management practices in accordance with agency and PMO guidance.
• Forecast, manage, and acquire resources needed to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure project activities and deliverables adhere to federal, state, or agency documented guidelines.
• Facilitate and manage contract processes from initiation to closure.
• Routinely perform gap analysis, root cause analysis, and offer recommendations for successful project outcomes.
• Demonstrate dynamic ability to lead group facilitation activities for the agency especially in areas requiring interaction of an independent party.
