Job summary

Copeland in Wisconsin seeks a Manager, Project Management to lead a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers in a hybrid environment. You will drive on-time, on-budget project delivery for ETO, refrigeration, and gas compression programs while aligning with enterprise PMO standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of manufacturing/engineering project exposure, 3+ years in leadership, and PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management or related field.
• 7+ years in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or related industries.
• 5+ years of project management experience handling complex, cross-functional projects.
• 3+ years in people leadership, coaching, and development of PM professionals.
• PMP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with coaching and succession planning.
• Oversee execution of ETO, refrigeration, gas compression, and other strategic projects against customer, operational, and financial objectives.
• Collaborate with enterprise PMO to improve standards, governance, tools, and metrics for consistent execution.
• Provide portfolio oversight: monitor performance, resources, schedules, budgets, risks, and priorities across multiple projects.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Logistics, and Field Services to drive accountability.
• Serve as escalation point for complex projects and cross-functional issues to minimize impact.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution, efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.
• Lead forecasting, resource planning, capacity management, and portfolio reporting to support strategic decisions.
