State of Washington Office of Financial Management seeks a PMO Manager to lead the enterprise PMO’s portfolio and governance, shaping technology investments and priorities for state agencies.

You will set project management standards, coach managers and Scrum Masters, and forge strategic partnerships across OFM to deliver high‑quality outcomes while driving accountability and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• PMI/PMO certification and extensive program management experience.
• Ability to translate strategy into programs, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Expert knowledge of PMO frameworks, governance, and performance measurement.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and lead a PMO Center of Excellence with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Define PMO strategy, governance, and KPIs to align execution with objectives.
• Develop project performance reporting and executive decision‑making feedback loops.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead project management professionals and Scrum Masters.
• Standardize PMO methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices.
• Oversee enterprise IT projects, manage risk, and align with governance review processes.
• Champion stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and governance reporting.
